ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP ADDS NEW CLASS TO SENIOR CENTER OFFERINGS

ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP (8/19/09) – The Aberdeen Township Recreation Department has announced the addition of a “movement to music” class to its lineup of programs for Township seniors.

“Get Up & Move” is an introductory, low-impact aerobics class that teaches basic steps   at a fun and easy pace.  “It is ideal for the beginner and great for the cardiovascular system,” said Jim Colabelli, Aberdeen Recreation Director.

The class takes place Thursday mornings at 11:15 a.m. at the George Hausmann Senior Center located at 30 Noble Place in the “N” Section of Strathmore.

“Get Up & Move” joins the roster of activities offered free of charge to Aberdeen seniors at the Hausmann Center, Mondays to Thursdays.  Pre-registration is not required.
